A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and NEQSOL Holding on cooperation in ecology and environmental protection, Report informs.
The document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Umayra Taghiyeva, and the head of NEQSOL Holding Azerbaijan, Imran Ahmadzada.
The document envisages cooperation in the protection of biodiversity, the protection and restoration of flora and fauna species, the restoration of ecosystems and infrastructure in specially protected natural areas, the provision of strategic raw material resources to ensure sustainable activity, the replacement of raw materials with waste mineral components, the use of alternative fuel and energy sources, and support for a "green” economy.
