In the first seven months of this year, 467,758 mobile phones (-50%) worth $92.65 million (-35%) were brought to Azerbaijan from abroad, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, 270,369 mobile phones (-48.7%) worth $53.434 million (- 30%) were purchased from China, 144,899 phones (-56.2%) worth $27.113 million (-46.7%) from Vietnam, 51,915 phones (-33%) worth $11,471 million (-21.3) from India, 525 phones (+18 times) worth $470,240 (+15 times) from Korea, and 30 phones worth $129,350 from Finland.
After one year and three months, the supply from Finland and UAE (1 phone worth $1,800) was resumed.
Some 56% of the 1,580,836 mobile phones brought to Azerbaijan from abroad (from 14 countries) were purchased from China, and 36% from Vietnam.
