Azerbaijan and Türkiye plan to integrate digital document management systems in 2025

Azerbaijan and Türkiye plan to integrate their digital document management systems in 2025, Rashad Khaligov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, said at an event dedicated to summarizing the agency's work.

Report quotes Khaligov as saying the integration will allow Azerbaijan's public and private organizations to send documents to Turkish institutions using electronic signatures.

"We are actively expanding projects within the paperless government concept. Several government agencies have already implemented digital projects. For example, the university admission process has been completely digitized through a portal developed by the Ministry of Science and Education," he noted.

Furthermore, Khaligov emphasized that in the coming years, they plan to launch the "zero documents" principle on the public procurement portal and on the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection platforms related to employment.
