According to Kaspersky, the largest number of WhatsApp+ users in the world is in Azerbaijan, Pasha Bank OJSC representative Araz Hasanzada said at the Fintech Summit held in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, WhatsApp+ is an illegal application:
“Hackers read our personal data on our devices, our actions, even SMS messages on our phones through this program. It transfers that information to 3rd parties. Based on this, it can even control our devices if we have given permission. Without your knowledge, especially at night, the screen goes dark, the PIN code is entered and money is transferred by tampering with the mobile application, and in the morning you wake up and see that there is no money on the card. Fraud happens without you even knowing it. However, banks are constantly taking measures to prevent such cases.”
