Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan's ICT sector up by over 11%

In January-October 2024, the average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan's information and communication sector (ICT) was 1,664 manats ($978), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This figure was 1,465 manats ($861) in the public sector and 1,806 manats ($1,062) in the private sector.

Compared to the same period last year, the average monthly nominal salary in the ICT sector increased by 11.4%, including 14.5% in the public sector and 9% in the private sector.

As of November 1, the number of wage employees in the sector was 34,200 people, which is 4% more than a year ago.
