The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy will finance the creation of a technology center in Azerbaijan, 4SIM Executive Director Fariz Jafarov said at the business forum “Increasing ambitions and stimulating activities: COP29”.
Report quotes him as saying that, according to the plan, by the end of 2030 more than 650 companies in this center will undergo technological transformation.
According to him, the financing will be aimed at minimizing companies' costs and optimizing their profits through digital transformation.
Jafarov recalled that in September 2023, 4SIM, together with the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education and Coursera, launched the 4Sİ Academy project to improve the level of digital knowledge of citizens, which will help accelerate the transition to a digital economy.
"At the first stage of the project, 800 free courses and trainings in artificial intelligence, data analytics, blockchain, cloud technologies, leadership, communications, English and other areas were organized for 10,000 citizens of Azerbaijan," he said.
