All health workers and people over 60 years of age should be vaccinated against coronavirus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, speaking at the 72nd session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa.
He said the organization continues to urge its member countries to adhere to 100% vaccination of health workers and people over 60, adding that vaccination is the best way to save lives and ensure a truly sustainable recovery.
The WHO chief noted an 'inspiring' progress in vaccination against coronavirus.
