WHO: Rich countries have 83% of global COVID-19 vaccines

Low- and middle-income countries, home to more than half of the world's population, have only 17% of coronavirus vaccines, while the richest countries possess 83%, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Thursday at the Global Research and Innovation Forum in Geneva, Report informs.

The Director-General stressed that WHO is doing everything it can to address inequalities through COVAX and other global initiatives.
