WHO reveals 3 easy ways to reduce risk of cancer

There are three simple ways to minimize the risk of cancer, according to the data of the World Health Organization (WHO), Report informs referring to Express newspaper.

“Maintaining a healthy weight can protect you against 12 types of cancers. These are: bowel, breast, gallbladder, kidney, liver, mouth, esophagus, ovary, pancreas, prostate, stomach and womb cancer,” the report said.

“Another way to minimize your risk of cancer is to be more physically active,” reads the article.

Adults are recommended to be physically activity for at least 150 minutes every week.

To reduce the risk of cancer, the World Cancer Research Fund recommends eating more grains, vegetables, fruit and beans, avoiding high-calorie foods, limiting consumption of red and processed meat, limiting consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks and avoiding alcohol.
