WHO official: Coronavirus vaccine not expected to be seasonal

Seasonal vaccination against COVID-19 would be a very effective solution, Henry Hans Kluge, the World Health Organization's (WHO) Regional Director for Europe, said, Report informs.

According to him, it is desirable that the coronavirus vaccine be seasonal, i.e., to solve the problem with a single dose, but as the pandemic continues, it is still not considered: "In general, the course of cases is good for today. However, I would still ask everyone to be vaccinated for their health. Those who are inoculated should take a booster dose."

"I also noted at the meeting with President Ilham Aliyev yesterday that the vaccination rate in Azerbaijan is very good. The sharing of vaccines and medical supplies with other countries is commendable. Thank you for this. Because this is a step towards strengthening global solidarity," WHO official noted.
