WHO delegation visits Wuhan

A delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO), which arrived in China to establish the origin of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), has conducted a study on a seafood market in Wuhan, Report informs, referring to Anadolu Agency.

On the third day of their research, experts are trying to establish the reasons for the spread of coronavirus in a market in Wuhan, known as a food distribution center.

The delegation visited a museum where early samples of COVID-19 were collected.

To establish the origin of COVID-19, experts also conducted research at the Hubei Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital.

A delegation of experts and researchers from the United States, Australia, Germany, Japan, the UK, Russia, the Netherlands, Qatar, and Vietnam arrived in Wuhan by private jet on January 14.

Upon arrival, the delegation was placed in a 14-day quarantine, during which meetings with Chinese officials were held online.
