The most frequent heart attack symptoms are chest pain, shortness of breath, increased sweating, and weakness. There are some subtle and usually neglected signs of the disease: neck, shoulder, or jaw pain, confusion, bloating, and heartburn.

The mortality rate is 3-6 percent if the patients do not see the doctor on time, but it can reach 33 percent if medical care is sought in the early stages. Therefore, it is vital to know your risks, Myasnikov stressed.

The doctor also pointed out that the main risk factors are age, heredity, smoking, cholesterol, sugar, and hypertension. Also, a sedentary lifestyle and obesity may have a negative impact.
