US accepts Azerbaijani scientist's study on COVID-19

The next scientific study on coronavirus conducted by Azerbaijani scientist Nuran Abdullayev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, University of Cologne, Germany, was highly praised by the American Society of Radiology, Report says.

It was approved as an academic lecture for the world's largest and most prestigious radiological congress, which will be held in video format in November.

It is the first time that the organization admits a scientific research from an Azerbaijani scientist. Besides, it is the first project to be presented there by the Institute of Radiology of the University of Cologne Clinic connected with COVID-19.

The studies have shown the role of calcification in the prognosis of the illness in patients with the pre-existing aorta and coronary heart disease. Also, the direct effect of vascular calcification measured by a particular method on the disease's clinical course has been confirmed.

Nuran Abdullayev has completed several scientific studies on the virus's analysis, the predictable prognosis, and its clinical course in different patients. The results of the research will be made public after their statement in relevant scientific journals. The project developed by the Azerbaijani scientist and the working group on "The role of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of COVID-19" was highly praised in Germany's relevant scientific circles.

Doctor of Medical Sciences Nuran Abdullayev is the first Azerbaijani scientist to present crucial research and relevant results to the world science on coronavirus.
