TABIB: Workers should practice good hand hygiene instead of wearing gloves

"Today, many believe that people during the COVID-19 incubation period are healthy. However, we should consider that these individuals have been infected with the coronavirus but have not yet developed clinical symptoms. In other words, that person can spread the disease," Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB), said at an online meeting on World Occupational Safety Day, Report quotes.

TABIB's official noted that people treated in incubation conditions could transmit the disease even if they are clinically healthy.

Garayeva added that the incidence is usually low among those working online:

"The golden rules are always the same and must be followed. Although large companies take strict precautions, masks are inadvertently removed when eating. Then a risk o infection emerges. Therefore, large companies can regulate this issue. Some facilities force workers to wear gloves. Improper use of gloves can increase infection cases. Instead, workers should practice good hand hygiene. If people get to work 15 minutes early or late, it will be possible to reduce congestion on public transport.
