TABIB unveils side effects of COVID-19 vaccine

The Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB) has unveiled possible side effects of the coronavirus vaccine.

Report informs, citing TABIB, that headaches, muscle aches, fever, etc., such symptoms are not an adverse effect but an expected outcome and indication of the body's response to the vaccine medically.

"The vaccine company does not recommend that the vaccine be given only to people who are sensitive to the elements of the vaccine and have a high body temperature or an exacerbation of a chronic illness at the time of vaccination," the doctor said.

Azerbaijan started the vaccination process against COVID-19 on January 18. The vaccination of people over 65 and employees of some government agencies has been performed since February 8.

The second stage of vaccination started on February 2. Vaccination is carried out voluntarily and at the state expense.
