TABIB official: 96% of patients in intensive care units are unvaccinated

The number of infected people is growing, said Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of TABİB, speaking at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers on August 20, Report informs.

"Today, people hesitate to vaccinate. We understand it. But we already know how much those infected with COVID-19 suffer," she said.

Garayeva added that 96 percent of patients who have been treated in intensive care units since March are those who did not receive their vaccine shots.
