TABIB about possibility of re-infections in vaccinated person

The Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB) has commented on the possibility of reinfections in the person vaccinated against coronavirus.

TABIB told Report that the vaccine began to show its effect two weeks after the second dose. In this period, it is possible to detect antibodies in the blood. However, it can vary depending on the immune system of each person.

"The results of studies on different vaccines are different. Studies in Turkey estimate the effectiveness of the CoronaVac vaccine at 92 percent. In Brazil, doctors have confirmed that the vaccine provides 100 percent protection against severe and moderate cases," the statement said.
