Russian doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov named the lethal danger of a stratified aortic aneurysm, Report informs via Russian media.
According to him, back pain at night may indicate this disease.
"Even Hippocrates said: persistent back pain at night can be a bad prognostic sign," he said.
Myasnikov cited a case that he had come across: his patient had back pain at night. The woman soon died of a ruptured aorta. Myasnikov cited the second example from his personal experience. In one of the programs, he pulled himself up, and then he felt discomfort in his shoulder.
"And I say during the program: 'You know, anything can happen, I have never had a pain, but now my back hurts.' Here I have a spasm because you press - it hurts. But I kept silent that it hurts at night. And the next day, I got cold sores," Myasnikov said.
He urged to consult specialists when this symptom occurs to diagnose and prescribe treatment immediately.
