Shoppers prohibited to touch unpackaged products: Food Safety Agency

Under the guidelines of the Food Safety Agency on the prevention of coronavirus (COVID-19), buyers are prohibited from touching unpackaged products in food stores (wholesale and retail outlets, markets, fairs, etc.).

Thus, bakery products, dried fruits, and other unpackaged food products that are not subjected to any heat treatment or cleaning before consumption should be kept behind a particular display case and isolated from consumers. These products should be given to consumers only by staff members that have hygienic means (gloves, masks, caps, etc.).
