The fight against the pandemic continues in Azerbaijan. Everything possible in financial and other terms has been done in Azerbaijan, Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President - Head of the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration, said at a briefing at the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers on August 20, Report informs.
He said Azerbaijani hospitals have more than 10,000 beds.
"Everything is in our hands. We all must be vaccinated to put an end to the pandemic. The one who has a COVID-19 passport will face no restrictions," he said.
Movsumov also noted that vaccination in Azerbaijan is optional.
"But there are some spheres where the vaccination is mandatory. For example, as doctors are all in the red zone, vaccination is mandatory for them," he said.
