S&P: Worst stage of COVID pandemic left behind

The worst stage of the coronavirus pandemic is behind, and more active vaccination pace will help accelerate the recovery of the global economy, Global Chief Economist at S&P Global Ratings based in New York Paul Gruenwald said during a conference organized by the agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

S&P experts say that additional vaccinations will mean less isolation and more confidence on the part of consumers, their higher activity in expenditure, he said.

If vaccination pace is raised, of which Europe is a great example, a stronger economic recovery can be achieved, he added.
