Russian expert reveals methods to reduce coronavirus risk

Vladislav Jemchugov, a well-known Russian immunologist and specialist in unusual dangerous infections, said that the risk of contracting any virus, including novel coronavirus, is very high indoors.

Report informs, citing the Russian media, that the expert attributed this to the highest concentration of dangerous pathogens in the air.

He noted that the ventilation of buildings is an excellent way to lessen this danger.

"In closed, crowded places, such as public transport, in addition to the mandatory protective mask mode, there must be a reinforced airing system. Air conditioners should not be turned off in subway cars, buses, and other public transport. On the contrary, they must strengthen it and connect heating and filtration ventilation," Jemchugov said.
