"Unfortunately, some medical workers issue fake COVID-19 passports. There are some patients who have the passport and are in intensive care units. They pay money and put their lives at risk," Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department for Economic Affairs and Policy of Innovative Development of the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov said, speaking at a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, Report informs.
He noted that such facts are being investigated.
"People do not only play with their lives but also undermine the state policy. The struggle against such cases continues. We want to warn the healthcare workers from here that those who resort to such steps will be brought to account," he said.
