Pfizer's net profit more than doubled

Diluted earnings per share for the year were $3.85 compared to $1.63 per share a year earlier. At the same time, Pfizer's revenue for the reporting year doubled to $81.288 billion. Pfizer's 2021 vaccine revenue was $13.914 billion, up from $2 billion in 2020.

According to the results of the fourth quarter, the company received a net profit of $3.393 billion, which is 4 times more than the same period in 2020. On a per-share basis, earnings were $0.59 compared to $0.15 in the fourth quarter of 2020. Pfizer's quarterly revenue doubled to $23.838 billion. Analysts had expected a figure of $24.16 billion.
