An event "Neurodiversity in the Workplace" was held in Baku on November 17, Report informs.
The event was attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, WHO Foundation Executive Director Anil Soni, NEQSOL Holding Chief Sustainability Officer Kadri Ozen, and other officials.
During the panel discussion, there was a broad exchange of views on implementing inclusive practices to support neurodivergent people, work experience in this field, and emerging challenges.
Speakers emphasized the importance of supporting neurodiversity in the workplace.
Considering that neurodivergent people see the world in their unique way, they may face difficulties in the workplace that affect both personal well-being and professional growth.
In this regard, it is important to create sensory workspaces and rest areas for them.
