Oncologist names "minor" symptoms of liver cancer

Oncologist Andrey Pylev listed several symptoms that may indicate the presence of liver cancer, Report informs via Govorit Moskva Radio.

According to the specialist, the so-called "minor signs syndrome" is characteristic of several oncological diseases, including liver cancer.

These "minor" signs include weakness, lethargy, weight loss, and pain. Pylev clarified that further developments depend on the location of the tumor.

"If the tumor is located in the porta hepatis and presses the bile ducts, the patient may turn yellow. If the cancer is in the periphery and stretches the liver capsule, there will be quite pronounced pain sensations," the doctor explained.

The oncologist also stressed the need to undergo regular examinations to help identify the disease at an early stage.
