Nutritionist warns of white bread danger

The use of white bread or sifted white flour can dramatically increase blood sugar levels.

According to Report, Well-known Russian nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg made this warning in an interview with Svezda TV channel.

The expert believes that white bread contains less dietary fiber. Therefore, starch is broken down quickly, and glucose is rapidly absorbed. After that, a "metabolic wave" occurs.

"There is a lot of sugar, so a lot of insulin falls quickly, and you want to eat again. Blood sugar falls quickly, and it stays in the tissues much, but it's a toxic effect," he told the channel.

Ginzburg noted that rapid aging, the emergence of age diseases, and diabetes are associated with this wave. In this regard, rye wheat and rye bread are more useful.
