Minister: Specialists involved in examination of corpses found in Karabakh

"Forensic medical examination and identification of the remains of thousands of our citizens who went missing during the First Karabakh War is underway," Minister of Health Teymur Musayev said, Report informs.

According to him, modern medical equipment is used in the examinations: "Specialists are involved in the process. Probably, more information will be provided after the process is completed."

The search operations, conducted in the Dashalti village of the Shusha district, the Edilli village of the Khojavend district, the Sirkhavand village of the Aghdam district, as well as the Farrukh village of the Khojaly district, and other areas, have found mass graves. The remains of a large number of people believed to be missing during the First Karabakh War have been exhumed.
