How to restore lungs after coronavirus?

A special massage will help to rehabilitate after a severe form of coronavirus. Report informs, the Honored Doctor of Russia, vertebral neurologist, chiropractor, reflexologist Andrei Kabychkin told in an interview with Sputnik radio.

According to him, to restore the lungs, it is necessary to increase the percentage of oxygen in the blood. Massage can stimulate the body's lymphatic drainage function and the work of the villous epithelium of the bronchi, which is extremely important for those who have had COVID-19.

"There are special types of massage that are designed to rehabilitate patients with this modern infection, but for centuries, millennia, massage has been done to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This brings good results. First of all, the percentage of oxygen in the blood increases, the blood begins to circulate more intensively after the massage and carries oxygen, with which the blood is enriched in the lungs, throughout the body," the doctor explained.

He emphasized that massage should be selected individually, depending on the degree of lung damage, and combined with other therapy types. Together, these techniques work more efficiently.
