Low measles infection rates during the cold months indicate that the situation is under control, Tayyar Eyvazov, a specialist at the Ministry of Health and infectious disease physician, said in an interview with Report.
According to him, measles infection cases have sharply decreased compared to last year.
"After the increase in cases a year ago, we engaged in vaccinating unvaccinated children. Then vaccines for adults were imported into the country. As a result, today we are observing a sharp decline in the number of infections," he said.
