Deputy minister: Transporting three injured from Aktau to Baku not feasible

Currently, it is not feasible to transport three severely injured victims of the plane crash from Aktau to Baku, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Health Ilgar Gasimov told journalists, Report informs.

He noted that these people are connected to ventilators at the hospital in Aktau.

"Treatment of the injured continues to stabilize their condition. After that, they will be transported to Azerbaijan for further treatment," the deputy minister said.

Gasimov noted that some of the victims were diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries and severe injuries from falling from a great height. "All victims will undergo complete medical examination, and after their condition stabilizes, outpatient treatment will be provided," he said.

The deputy minister emphasized that effective treatment of combined injuries requires the participation of various specialists.

"All necessary measures for treating the accident victims are already being taken. We will regularly inform citizens. We ask for patience during such a difficult period," Gasimov added.
