Chinese scientists: Coronavirus may have originated from snakes

A new strain of coronavirus may have originated in snakes, Report says, citing foreign media.

According to the study, most of the first patients, placed in hospitals with the coronavirus in Wuhan, were the workers or customers of the markets of sea products. In line with the information, the snakes sold in Wuhan mainly feed on bats.

Coronavirus has infected more than 830 people and claimed 26 lives in China.
