The goal is to further develop the brotherly relations between the two countries based on historical roots, and to achieve an increase in cooperation between the two countries in the health system as well as in other fields.

Opening the event, Turkish-Azerbaijani volunteer Monik Ipekel said that seeing the flags of two brotherly countries hanging side by side in Azerbaijan made her very emotional: "My friends in Baku were walking me around the city when I saw this beautiful sight and I burst into tears of joy. We are lucky to have such a brotherly country."

Sadagat Kahramanova, the deputy chairperson of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems, said that today, as a continuation of the brotherhood of Turkiye and Azerbaijan, social and political activists are raising a very important and vital issue: "This brotherhood continues under the motto of 'One Nation, Two States,' as the great leader Heydar Aliyev said. Turkiye's support in the 44-day Patriotic War further strengthened the brotherhood between the two countries. We are the same nation and our pain and joy are the same. Today, Liv Bona Dea Hospital brings women's problems to the agenda again. Because women's health and development are very important for our state and society. We are very worried about the increase of breast cancer today. It is very important for us that women come here and have a check-up. After that, actions related to lung diseases and a number of diseases will be held."

Nigar Arpadarai, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, noted that the topic is very sensitive: "Our ladies are very hardworking, and therefore sometimes their health comes second. Our ladies can prevent very serious problems by undergoing a timely examination. Women are the main pillars of a healthy society, so their problems are very important to us."

The deputy of the Milli Majlis, Konul Nurullayeva, emphasized that Turkiye's support during the war created great enthusiasm in the society: "As in many fields, the two brotherly countries cooperate in the health sector as well. I wish there were more hospitals like Liv Bona Dea Hospital. In recent years, the state's attention to the health sector in the country is remarkable. As a result of this, Azerbaijan's health care is developing day by day.

Vugar Zeynalov, chairman of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, said that Turkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood will be talked about a lot in the future: "It is very important for the two brotherly countries to cooperate in a number of fields. This is very important for our development in the field of entrepreneurship. As the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, we are always by your side."

At the conference, a letter of thanks was presented to public and political figures for their support.

It should be noted that by the end of the year, the hospital will arrange mammography and breast examination for 300 women in need.
