Azerbaijani product Avesta2810 destroys COVID-19

Despite political or economic divisions, the whole world has come together to achieve a single common goal, that is, to get rid of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19 SARS.

Statistics of different countries on the number of people affected by this virus are published daily. The UN comes up with various initiatives to combat the virus, and institutions and manufacturers from different countries are trying to find ways out of this situation.

At the moment, there are two main directions for fighting the virus - the invention of formulas, the production of an antidote for vaccination, and the production of means for disinfecting surfaces, since scientists have proven that the virus tends to settle on various surfaces and thereby be transmitted further, expanding the number of infected.

“The surfaces we touch every day are potential transmission vehicles,” says Dr. Gerald Larrouy-Maumus, an infectious disease researcher at Imperial College London, UK.

Last year, scientists proved that copper is the best disinfectant to fight coronavirus. Several manufacturers have organized the production of the antimicrobial copper film, the impact of which on the fight against viruses made a furor. But, alas, these production facilities require large investments and, given the production capacity, cannot cover a wide area.

Like foreign institutes and companies, the Azerbaijani research company AZCHEMCO did not stand still and worked hard for a year to solve this global problem. With the support of Azertrading LTD, AZCHEMCO's product - Avesta2810, completely consisting of dissolved copper, was tested in the AzMedical aboratory for disinfection of surfaces from the COVID-19 SARS virus. Testing was done on equipment from South Korea's SD-Biosensor. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that Avesta2810 completely destroyed the bacteria of the COVID-19 SARS virus outdoors in 40 minutes.
