Azerbaijani deputy minister: 96% of patients in hospitals aren’t vaccinated

“Compared to other states, Azerbaijan isn’t one of those countries that deny the vaccine. The problem is that some ‘experts,’ public figures on social networks, and some media are trying to dissuade people from getting vaccinated. Addressing these people, I say that the responsibility for those who die in the intensive care unit lies with you. This is also a crime,” First Deputy Healthcare Minister Teymur Musayev said in an interview with Real TV, Report informs.

Musayev said that at present, 35 percent of the population have been fully vaccinated: “Having reached 75 percent-vaccination, we can prevent the spread of infection. Currently, 96 percent of patients in hospitals are not vaccinated, and 98 percent of them are those in the intensive care units.”
