In the meeting held in Baku between the Ministers of Health of Azerbaijan and Turkiye, Teymur Musayev and Fahrettin Koca, it was stated that Azerbaijan will use the experience of Turkiye in digital health, Report informs.
Teymur Musayev pointed out that cooperation with the brotherly country is exemplary in healthcare and medical science, as in all fields. The Minister emphasized that digitalization of the healthcare system is one of the priority issues of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan: "Within the framework of the business trip of the delegation of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to the brotherly country in May of this year, we had many discussions and meetings with our Turkish colleagues in the field of digital health, and we feel their support. Turkiye's experience in this field is critical. The Turkish model in digitization is one of the leaders in the world."
Touching on the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan emphasized that cooperation between the two countries has become more regular during this period.
A two-day business trip to Azerbaijan of the Turkish delegation led by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has started today. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan delegation. The parties effectively exchanged views on brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, cooperation in healthcare, and joint projects.
A delegation headed by the Minister of Health of Turkiye is scheduled to visit the city of Shusha, the pearl of Azerbaijani culture, within the framework of a two-day business trip to the country.
