Some 1,908 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
The number of those who got their first jab was 579 today, while 246 got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 922 people got immunized with three or more doses of the COVID vaccine. The number of those vaccinated with a booster dose after a positive result has reached 161.
To date, 13,768,446 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,355,145 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,854,038 have been double jabbed.
This is while 3,309,825 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine in Azerbaijan.
As many as 249,438 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
