Twenty-nine people in Azerbaijan have tested positive for coronavirus.
One person has died.
Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report that an Azerbaijan national in his 50s who returned from Turkey on March 12, was hospitalized with fever and difficulty breathing.
The examination revealed that he had chronic bronchitis, and later, he tested positive for coronavirus.
The intensive treatment did not lead to the stabilization of his condition. Now all his family members and other people who contacted him are being identified and taken to quarantine.
At the same time, five coronavirus patients were treated in designated hospitals and discharged.
Today, Azerbaijan accounts for 104 active cases of COVID-19 infection. These patients are held under medical control, with five in critical condition, nine in medium severe, and the state of others stable. Their treatment continues.
