Azerbaijan records 142 new COVID cases, 9 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 142 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 243 people recovered from the infection, and 9 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 790,962 cases of infection, 779,828 recoveries, and 9,627 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 1,507 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 6,640,773 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 5,454 today.
