Azerbaijan introduces certificate for fully vaccinated people

"About 10% of the population in Azerbaijan has been vaccinated at the next stage. Everyone over the age of 18 in the country can be inoculated. Thus, a new document is being applied," Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President and Head of the Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, said at a briefing of the Task Forces.

"This document is called a COVID passport and consists of two certificates. The first certificate is a vaccination certificate. A special vaccination certificate is formed on the portal icaze.e-gov.az for those receiving two doses of the vaccine. Every citizen has access to this certificate through E-TABIB. People can also print it on the portal icaze.e-gov.az and save it on paper. Both certificates have a QR code on them. The second certificate is the immunity certificate and also applies to sick and healed people. They are not vaccinated within a certain period. Therefore, the immunity certificate is considered a COVID-19 passport," he added.
