Azerbaijan has introduced a ban on the import of chicken products and related products, Report informs.
The Food Security Agency of Azerbaijan, based on the data of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), is taking measures in accordance with the epizootic situation in the world to protect animals from infectious diseases.
According to WOAH, highly pathogenic avian influenza has been registered in the Dutch province of Zeeland.
Taking into account the zoning principle, it is prohibited to import from the province of Zeeland, the Netherlands, live poultry and hatching eggs, poultry meat, all types of poultry products (with the exception of products subjected to processing that ensures the destruction of avian influenza viruses), feed and feed additives, equipment used for keeping, slaughtering and processing poultry.
