Araz Ibrahimov: "Rules must be strictly followed to avoid lockdowns"

No one wants the repetition of lockdowns and everyone wants the pandemic to end. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly abide by the rules, Health Ministry specialist and head of the Urology chair at the Azerbaijan Medical University Araz Ibrahimov said.

Report informs that the specialist called on population to vaccinate.

"People should not expect everything from the state. To protect ourselves, we should wear masks in enclosed spaces and respect the social distance. We should take into account the fact that everyone around us can be a coronavirus carrier. Many people ask 'what is the use of vaccinating, if we still can contract coronavirus after it?' What is most important here is that we will have milder symptoms if we contract the virus after vaccination and will avoid hospitalization. We should not forget that vaccination is the only way to overcome the pandemic," he said.
