3 die of unknown disease in Tanzania

In Tanzania, east Africa, 11 people have contracted an unknown disease. Of them, three have died, and the rest are in isolation, the head of the country's medical service Aifelo Sichvale said in a statement, according to Report.

Symptoms include nosebleeds, fever, headache, and weakness. The tests did not reveal any signs of Ebola or Marburg fevers, as well as coronavirus in patients.

The cases of the unknown disease were recorded after July 5 in the Lindi region. Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan suggested that the reason for its appearance was environmental degradation, which is why wild animals approached human settlements.

Some sources report 13 cases of infection. All those who came into contact with the patients are under observation, but they did not show any symptoms, said local doctors.
