Azerbaijan stands for stability in the region, and Türkiye, as an ally, always supports this position of Baku, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Zeki Levent Gumrukcu told Report.
He noted that Azerbaijan is actively working to ensure stability in the region in the near future.
"The position that Azerbaijan demonstrates is clear and obvious - permanent peace. The most important condition for its formation is Armenia's renunciation of unfounded claims that have been going on for many years, and at the same time - the liquidation of the OSCE Minsk Group. Azerbaijan's demands are legitimate," Gumrukcu said.
The deputy minister believes that Armenia is using various reasons to delay the signing of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
"I believe that despite such obstacles, the peace treaty will be signed in the near future," he added.
