Baku has become the political Davos, where most pressing global problems are discussed, Ukraine's former President Viktor Yushchenko told journalists, according to Report.
He said it is important that discussions of the ways of 'fighting evil' have intensified.
"Today there is no country for which the security issue is not a priority," Yushchenko said.
The 10th Global Baku Forum starts in the Azerbaijani capital today. This year, its main topic will be 'World of Today: Challenges and Hopes'.
The Global Baku Forum has been organized by the Nizami Ganjavi Internaitonal Center since 2013 under the patronage of the President of Azerbaijan.
