In the fight against neocolonialism, it is essential for nations to unite with countries like Azerbaijan, according to journalist and communications specialist Abdurrahman Von. According to Report, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the international conference on the French Policy of Neocolonialism in Africa held in Baku, Von emphasized the importance of this collaboration.
"It is a great honor for me to be in Baku at the invitation of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) and participate in such a vital conference dedicated to combating neocolonialism," Von stated. "One of the main problems faced by African countries is neocolonialism. We have not freed ourselves from the colonial legacy. Africans must unite and think about their destiny, autonomy, and independence."
Von underlined that BIG has created an opportunity to conduct an important dialogue addressing the issue of neocolonialism not only in African countries but also in other regions. He expressed deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani state and people for this initiative.
The specialist also voiced hope that similar events will be held in the future in other countries around the world.
