Verkhovna Rada Speaker: Ukraine supports Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity

A delegation headed by the deputy chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) - head of the central office Tahir Budagov, who is on a visit to Kyiv, met with Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Report informs, citing the NAP.

First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Kornienko, Chairman of the ruling Servant of the People party, MP Olena Shulyak, Co-Chair of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Valeriy Kolyukh, Deputy Co-Chair Lyudmila Marchenko attended the meeting in the Verkhovna Rada.

Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that Ukraine supports Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and wants to achieve the territorial integrity of his country, using Azerbaijan’s experience.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the deputy chairman of the NAP - head of the central office Tahir Budagov said that warm friendly relations have historically existed between the two countries.

Having conveyed to the opposite side the greetings of the chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, President Ilham Aliyev, Tahir Budagov said that the president treats Ukraine very warmly.

Then a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the NAP and the Servant of the People party. The memorandum was signed by the deputy chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Tahir Budagov and the chairman of the Servant of the People party Elena Shulyak.
