Vaira Vike-Freiberga awarded Honorary Diploma of President of Azerbaijan

Vaira Vike-Freiberga has been awarded the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in recognition of her contributions to the development of relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international arena, Report informs via AZERTAC.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order in this regard.

Latvia's second President (1999-2007) Vayra Vike-Freyberga will turn 85 tomorrow. She is the first female head of state in Eastern Europe.
