US sends ten mine detection dogs to Azerbaijan 

The US Marshall Legacy Institute (MLI), a partner of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) for years, is planned to deliver 30 mine detection dogs to Azerbaijan by July 2023, Report informs, citing ANAMA.

The first ten specially trained dogs were delivered to ANAMA free of charge on August 23.

During the visit of the President of the Marshall Legacy Institute, Perry Baltimore, to Azerbaijan, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an agreement are expected to be signed with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ANAMA Vugar Suleymanov.

The signing ceremony is planned to be held on August 26 in Baku.

At the same time, the representatives of the MLI are planned to pay a one-day visit to the liberated territories in order to get acquainted with the training center of the mine detection dogs in the Fuzuli district.

The purpose is to see Karabakh, polluted with mines and unexploded ordnance, and get acquainted with cleanup operations'.
