UN to promote Azerbaijan's ASAN Service model across four continents

Azerbaijan's renowned ASAN Service model is set to be promoted across four continents, Report informs, citing the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN service).

A Contribution Agreement has been signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations (UN) to formalize this partnership. The agreement was inked by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, and Li Junhua, UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs.

Under the agreement, innovations based on the ASAN Service model will be implemented in UN member countries to enhance public service delivery and develop relevant capacities. The UN recognizes Azerbaijan's internationally acclaimed ASAN Service concept as a best practice model and promotes it to its member states.

The agreement paves the way for training programs for public servants in respective countries, drawing from Azerbaijan's ASAN Service experience. These programs will focus on advanced management and public service delivery. Educational materials will be prepared, and intercontinental international events will be organized.
